The magical drug!

Collecting the kid from the day care,  mother comes home with a short stint of migraine which has been troubling  her for almost 3 days, and unusually sits on the sofa with her fingers across her forehead.

The 4 year old turns back

"എന്തു പറ്റി അമ്മാ? "

"അമ്മക്ക് ചെറിയ  ഒരു തലവേദന"

Touches mom's  forehead and neck

"ചൂടൊന്നും ഇല്ലല്ലോ,  പിന്നെന്തു പറ്റി?  "

"അറിയത്തില്ല "

Thinks for a while and asks mom with a startled look

"അമ്മ സിഗററ്റ് വലിച്ചോ? "

The flabbergasted  mother കണ്ണും മിഴിച്ചു അന്തം വിട്ടു asks

"ഏഹ്.. ഇല്ലാ.. അതെന്താ നീ അങ്ങനൊക്കെ ചോദിച്ചേ "

For which the kid innocently says

"നമ്മൾ രാവിലെ ടീവി വയ്കുമ്പോ ഒരു മരുന്നിന്റെ പരസ്യം കാണിക്കത്തില്ലേ (Referring  to the videocon dth telemarketing  ad of "नशा बन्द" - an anti addiction  drug) ഒരു ചേട്ടൻ.. സിഗരറ്റ്   വലിച്ചിട്ടാ  തലവേദന എടുക്കുന്നേ.. ആ ചേട്ടന് ആ മരുന്ന് കൊടുക്കത്തില്ലേ, അമ്മ ആ മരുന്ന് വാങ്ങിച്ചു കഴിച്ചാ മതി തലവേദന മാറും "

ആ അമ്മേടെ തലവേദന പോയ വഴിക്കു പുല്ലു പോലും പിന്നെ വന്നിട്ടില്ലത്രെ !
